Messages in Escrobro live inside each transaction workspace. Every message is tied to a property address — not a generic inbox — so context never gets lost when someone joins late or scrolls back.
How it works
Open the Messages tab on any transaction. Type and send — participants on the deal see the thread in real time. Sender names display from participant profiles so buyers know who's writing.
When to use messaging vs. email
Use in-deal messaging for status updates, quick questions, and coordination during active escrow. Use email for formal notices that require a paper trail outside the platform, or when communicating with parties not yet invited to the workspace.
Notifications
Participants receive email notifications for new messages when they're not active in the workspace. They can reply from the link without hunting through CC chains.
